New Bangladeshi airline Air Astra has chosen L3Harris as its training provider through 2026, the UK company said at the Farnborough International Airshow.
With plans to begin operations across its domestic network with a fleet of ATR 72-600s this September, Air Astra will send its pilots to undergo type-rating and recurrent training with L3Harris. The training will conduct the training at its Bangkok Training Centre, which is equipped with a range of Airbus, Boeing, and ATR simulators and training devices.
“As a new airline, ensuring the highest quality of training and safety across our operations couldn’t be more important,” said Air Astra CEO Said Imran Asif.
