- With some significant cash changing hands, Safran and Dassault Aviation have settled their differences over the latter’s problems with its Silvercrest engine. Separately, Safran has realigned its overall corporate focus with the acquisition of one of Rockwell Collins’s business units.
- On the commercial aviation front, Boeing reports it is catching up on production lags involving the next-gen Max versions of the single-aisle 737 line. And Virgin Australia announced it has converted Max 8 orders to Max 10s.
- On the lighter side, a Pilatus PC-12 pilot has developed an ingenious device for boarding one of his wheelchair-bound passengers. And AIN editor-in-chief Matt Thurber got the chance to sample MyGoFlight’s budget-priced head-up display - in a Cirrus piston single.
