Wencor and Turkey’s Alp Havacilik (Alp Aviation) signed a multi-year purchase agreement at the Farnborough Airshow under which Wencor will continue to provide consumable and expendable parts to support Alp's production requirements.

For 65 years, Wencor has provided designated engineering representative (DER)-based repairs, component MRO, and parts manufacturer approval manufacturing, as well as an extensive network of distribution solutions. It supports several commercial airlines, repair stations, and OEMs through a number of corporate affiliates.

“We are thrilled to expand the relationship with Alp that we have enjoyed over two decades,” said Wencor CEO Shawn Trogdon. “We look forward to utilizing our broad product offerings and service levels to support Alp Aviation and their customers for years to come.”

Established in 1998 in Eskisehir, Turkey, privately owned Alp manufactures flight-critical parts, systems, and subsystems. It employs around 1,300 people and boasts a wide range of laboratory and metal machining capabilities. Alp supports rotary and fixed-wing platforms, including several Boeing and Airbus aircraft, as well as a number of Pratt & Whitney engine programs.

“We would like to thank Wencor for their excellent service to our organization. We are impressed by the timely support that the team has been providing us,” said Alp Aviation general manager Senay Idil. “This has helped us greatly to complete our projects on time and achieve customer satisfaction.”
